Carmen joined James H. Cole Home for Funerals full time in 2009 after completing her apprenticeship with the firm. She has a Bachelor of Science in Mortuary Science from Wayne State University. Over the course of her career, she has honed her skills and knowledge in both embalming and funeral service. Carmen states, “Funeral service has been a career that I’ve always wanted to fulfill since the age of seven years old. I’ve always felt comforting people who are at their lowest ebb was my ministry”.
Her current memberships are with the NFDA (National Funeral Directors Association) and MFDA (Michigan Funeral Directors Association). Born and raised in Detroit Michigan, she is married to the love of her life. She is an avid traveler, jet skier, and enjoys live musical entertainment.
